Copyright & Content Review Policy

Purpose

Adaptiv is a product discovery platform that displays third-party product information, including product names, descriptions, specifications, and images, to help users discover, compare, and explore products. Adaptiv respects the intellectual property rights of others and provides this policy so that rights holders, or their authorized representatives, can contact Adaptiv with questions or concerns about content displayed on the platform.

Third-party content

Adaptiv is operated by Adaptiv Discovery. The Service organizes publicly available product information from brands, retailers, marketplaces, publicly available sources, data providers, and other third-party sources to help users discover, compare, and explore products. Product references may include names, descriptions, specifications, attributes, availability information, links, and image references associated with third-party product pages.

Where product images are shown, they may be displayed from their original third-party hosting locations through image URLs, source references, or publicly available webpage metadata. All trademarks, copyrights, photographs, product imagery, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. Adaptiv respects the intellectual property rights of brands, creators, and rights holders, does not claim ownership of third-party product content, and does not alter ownership rights in that content.

Submitting a request for review

Copyright owners, trademark owners, or their authorized representatives may submit a request to Adaptiv for review. To help us evaluate your request promptly, please include the following:

1. Your full legal name, organization (if any), and contact information (email, phone, mailing address).
2. A clear identification of the copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property that is the subject of your request.
3. A clear identification of the specific content on Adaptiv you are challenging, including URLs, product names, or screenshots sufficient for us to locate the content.
4. An explanation of your ownership of, or authorization to act on behalf of the owner of, the identified work or mark.
5. The resolution you are requesting (for example, removal, replacement, attribution, or restricted display).
6. Any supporting documentation, such as registration certificates, licensing terms, or prior correspondence, if available.
7. A statement, made in good faith, that the information in your request is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.
8. Your physical or electronic signature.

Review process

Upon receipt of a request, Adaptiv may, in its sole discretion:

• Review the submitted request and any supporting materials.
• Request additional information, clarification, or documentation from the requester.
• Update, replace, re-source, modify, restrict, or remove the identified content where appropriate.
• Decline requests that lack sufficient information, appear invalid, are duplicative, or that we determine do not warrant action.
• Take any other action we consider reasonable under the circumstances, including forwarding the request to the party that supplied the content.

Action taken (or not taken) in response to any request is not an admission of liability or ownership by Adaptiv, and does not waive any rights or defenses available to Adaptiv under applicable law.

Good faith statement

Adaptiv responds to legitimate intellectual property concerns in good faith while maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and availability of its platform for the community it serves. We reserve the right to reinstate content in response to counter-notifications or upon further review, and to update this policy from time to time.

Ongoing review

Adaptiv may, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, adjust how it sources or displays content associated with repeat or substantiated concerns, and may update this policy from time to time.
